Before you start a thread, open the board and read anything pinned to the top. Stickies on the SimpCity forums are where the current rules for that category live. Then search. A new thread that repeats a title from last week is harder for everyone to follow.

How to pick a board

The SimpCity forums stay readable when a thread lives in one category. A practical order:

Name the subject in a few words, the way you would title the thread.
If it is “I cannot log in” or “the confirmation never arrived”, use Support.
If it is a how-to you expect people to reuse, use Guides & tips.
If it is a hello or a comment about the site, use Community.
If it is a recommendation or a loose conversation, use Lifestyle & talk.
Everything else starts on the main boards of the SimpCity forums.

Staff can move a thread. You can also ask in the thread if you are unsure. Starting the same post in two boards splits the replies, and search on the SimpCity forums then returns two half-conversations.

What the numbers mean

Thread and post counts on this page are a snapshot of activity, not a promise that a board is “better”. A quieter board can still be the right home. On simpcity.cr you will also see who posted last and when. Sort by latest reply when you want what changed today; sort by start date only when you are digging through older SimpCity forums threads on purpose.
