What the SimpCity forums are

The SimpCity forums are a threaded adult community. A board is a room with a subject. A thread is one conversation inside that room. A post is a single message in that conversation. That structure is the whole point of the SimpCity forums: you can leave, come back tomorrow, search a phrase and land on the same thread instead of hunting through a feed.

simpcity.reviews is the guide. It describes how the SimpCity forums are laid out, what an account unlocks, and what to do when an older address stops loading. It is not the message board. Posting, replies, private messages and the member list all happen on simpcity.cr.

Two addresses, two jobs

How a thread on the SimpCity forums is built

Once you open the SimpCity forums, almost every page you care about is some version of a thread. Knowing the pieces makes the boards easier to scan.

• Title. The promise of the thread. Specific titles are easier to find later in SimpCity forums search.
• Original post. The first message. Later replies assume you read it. If the question changed, members usually edit the first post or start a new thread.
• Replies. Shown in order, often across several pages on busy SimpCity forums threads. The last page is where the conversation is now.
• Quotes. A reply can include a piece of an earlier post so the answer still makes sense if you arrive late.
• Thread tools. Watch or follow to get told about new replies. Bookmark to save it. Report if a post breaks the board rules.

What you can do before and after you join

• Username. It is public on the SimpCity forums. Avoid an address or a real full name if you do not want that tied to the account.
• Email. The confirmation message is how the SimpCity forums know the inbox is yours. Check spam, wait a few minutes, then use resend once — not ten times.
• Password. Use something you do not reuse on other sites. The reset flow also depends on that same email.
• First post. Read the board’s sticky thread. Put the question in the title. One thread per topic keeps the SimpCity forums searchable.
• Profile. After you are in, you can add an avatar and a short signature. Neither is required to read or reply.

When the SimpCity forums will not open

Work through this before you assume the boards are gone. Most “down” reports are a stale bookmark, a blocked old domain, or a browser cache.

1. Come back to simpcity.reviews and use Enter forums. That button opens the current SimpCity forums on simpcity.cr.
2. Try a private window or a second browser. Extensions and an old cache often keep a dead address on screen.
3. If the page loads but login fails, the usual cause is an unconfirmed email or a mistyped password. Use the reset on simpcity.cr, then check spam.
4. If you can log in but one board errors, note the board name and post in Support on the SimpCity forums instead of starting the same report in three places.

A category inside the SimpCity forums. Threads in one board share a topic and a set of posting rules.

Sticky

A thread pinned to the top of a board. On the SimpCity forums these usually hold the rules or a current announcement.

Bump

A new reply that brings an older thread back to the top of the board list. A useful reply is a bump. “Up” on its own is not.
